Tiz the Law, trained by Barclay Tagg, was named the 3-5 favorite in the morning line. He drew the No. 17 post position in the field of 18.

The Derby is set for 7:02 p.m. Saturday and will be televised by NBC. The Derby was postponed from May 2 to Sept. 5 because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The strength of the field took a hit Tuesday morning when Art Collector was declared out of the race because of a foot injury. South Bend, trained by Bill Mott, was a late add and brought the field to a total of 18 horses.
